Court Reporter

Vocational-level position accountable for taking verbatim notes of testimony in administrative proceedings using a stenotype machine or other reporting equipment. Accountable for marking exhibits introduced as evidence, maintaining in a secure place, and incorporating exhibits into case papers.

Typically requires current certification as a court reporter by the Mississippi Court Reporter Association.
