Museum Curator
Museum position accountable for specialized and supervisory work involving the development and administration of curatorial and exhibits programs. Supervises professional, paraprofessional, technical and volunteer positions. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
Typically requires a Master’s Degree.

Museum Team Lead
Museum supervisory position accountable for managing a museum facility or a division of a museum. Accountable for conducting research activities in developing and documenting a collection and providing administration with expertise in developing and planning projects in an area of specialization. Employees are responsible for long-range planning and program development for overall collections and exhibition development, management, interpretation, and documentation in area of specialization. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
Typically requires a Master’s Degree and 2+ years of experience.
