Architects are licensed professionals trained in the art and science of building design and redesign who develop the concepts for structures and turn those concepts into images and plans.

Architect

Accountable for the preparation of architectural designs, drawings and specifications. Conducts code compliance and inspection and review of facilities, drawings, campuses, and buildings. Participates in building and construction RFXs. May provide construction management oversight from an architectural perspective.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, and 0-2 years of experience as a practicing Architect, and licensure from the Mississippi Architecture and Landscape Board.
