Warehouse Associate I

Entry-level work in which employees are responsible for a warehouse, canteen, commissary, storeroom, or gift shop involving the receipt, storage, distribution, acquisition, and/or selling of inventory. Positions at this level are responsible for routine storekeeping duties including receiving and unpacking inventory items, verifying quality and quantity, and referring decisions regarding non- conformance with specifications to higher level staff. Position may be responsible for listing, pulling, packaging, and delivering goods.

Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience.

Warehouse Associate II

Journey-level work in which employees are responsible for a warehouse, canteen, commissary, storeroom, or gift shop involving the receipt, storage, distribution, acquisition, and/or selling of inventory. Positions at this level are responsible for routine storekeeping duties including receiving and unpacking inventory items, verifying quality and quantity, and referring decisions regarding non- conformance with specifications to higher level staff. Position may be responsible for listing, pulling, packaging, and delivering goods.

Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience.

Warehouse Associate III

Employees are responsible for overseeing a major storekeeping area such as canteen or commissary operations, and/or clothing or perishable food storerooms. Positions may serve as assistant to a supply manager in the operation of a warehouse. At this level, a position will be inspecting items for conformance with specifications, rejecting shipments not meeting indicated specifications, and certifying receipts in order to authorize payment to vendors.

Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience.

Warehouse Associate Team Lead

First-level supervisory position responsible for maintaining stock and inventory in a warehouse. Incumbents are responsible for training and managing lower-level storekeeping and warehouse staff. At this level, incumbents will inspect shipments, reject non- conforming shipments, certify receipts, and authorize payments to vendors. Incumbents may also function as the top supervisor of a small warehouse or storage facility.

Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience.

Warehouse Associate Supervisor

Second-level of supervision in the Storekeeping and Warehouse family, incumbents are responsible for directing and managing extensive warehouse and storekeeping functions at a large facility or multiple facilities that have statewide impact. An employee at this level will be accountable for all inventory and storage functions, warehouse security, and the supervision and training of employees to include hire recommendations, training, planning, and assigning work, performance assessment, and discipline.

Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience and 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
